Senior Contest Information
For each spring issue, The GW Review holds a senior contest where outgoing seniors may submit their own fiction, poetry, and two-dimensional art. Winners will have their work published in The GW Review along with a short bio (written in the 3rd Person) and photo.
Guidlines
Students may submit no more than five poems/ten pages for poetry and three 5,000 word maximum stories for fiction. If a student wishes to submit shorter/flash fiction, please email with requests or questions. Submissions may be made to both categories with the understanding that a maximum of five pieces may be selected. Our senior contest aims to target student writers in specific fields rather than one student writing in each field.
There is no limit on senior art submissions. Before submitting, however, please be aware the we only publish two-dimensional black and white art and your art must be able to be published in this form.
Submissions
Submissions can be sent via email to gwreview@gmail.com with "Senior Contest" mentioned somewhere in the subject line or dropped off to Marvin Center 415 in an envelope labeled:
