Poetry Submissions
The GW Review accepts a large variety of poems for each issue. Before submitting, please review our guidelines:
-Submissions may not exceed ten pages. Although you may submit more than one poem, poems in sum must not exceed ten pages.
-Submissions must be printed (not handwritten) in a legible font.
-In addition to your submission, please include a cover letter with a brief biography (written in the 3rd Person) as well as necessary contact information including your name, address, telephone number and email.
You may submit poetry from April to October to be considered for our Fall Issue, and from November to March for our Spring Issue. Please be aware that our editors primarily receive submissions during the school semester and that any submissions received during summer and/or winter breaks may take longer to review.
All accepted poets will receive two contributor copies of The GW Review in which their work is featured.
